Importance of early diagnostics of eye pathology is difficult to overestimate, as the success of therapy much depends on its earliest detection, namely, at a stage of convertible changes.
Eyesight Recovery Center is constantly modernized, actively introducing the most advanced diagnostic equipment, allowing to reveal the smallest infringements in eye fabrics when patient still does not notice any eyesight deterioration.
All diagnostic at Eyesight Recovery Center is performed without pain, quick, and maximum exact. It has been developed based on a principle of the individual approach to each patient. As a result of long-term and wide experience, we have developed a diagnostic algorithm for patients of various age groups. Average diagnostic period is 2 hours.
After careful examination the patient receives consulting of expert and if necessary, corresponding treatment.
DIAGNOSTICS OF CATARACT
High-frequency ultrasonic diagnostics allows to view inside eye and in detail, within 1/100 fractions of millimeter, estimate the sizes and state of its anatomic structures. Laser optical biometrics with IOL-Master instrument allows to most precisely select the parameters of intraocular lens for subsequent surgery to remove a cataract.
TOMOGRAPHY METHODS OF ESTIMATION OF RETINA AND OPTIC NERVE CONDITION
Our Center has unique opportunity to carry out diagnostics simultaneously using three instruments, each of them has its own advantages when estimating particular disease. These instruments are Stratus OCT 3000 optical coherent tomograph, the RTA Talia laser analyzer of retina thickness and Heidelberg retinal tomograph of last HRT3 generation. These are supermodern superexact diagnostic devices used for early diagnostics and monitoring of glaucoma and other diseases of optic nerve and various pathology of retina. They allow to reveal eye illness at the earliest stages of development and answer a question: “What is the future of your eyes?”.
Fluorescent angiography is applied to comprehensively analyze various pathological changes of retina. It is performed both with the diagnostic purpose, and for determining indications, tactics and terms of laser therapy and for estimation of its results. Our Center uses the best TRC-50EX IMAGEnet 2000 Retina Camera having no analogues concerning its wide functionalities.
DIAGNOSTIC OF MYOPIA, HYPEROPIA, ASTIGMATISM
Our Center has unique in Russia SCHWIND innovation complex of equipment, allowing to detect all smallest disturbances of eye optics; the complex includes: Keratron Scout keratotopograph and Wavefront Aberrometer. Their use has raised the surgery to a qualitatively new level when the patient gets so-called “supersight” after surgery.
